Rav Yitzchok Friedman of Bohosh zt"l
Rav Yitzchak Friedman, the first Rebbe of Bohush (1834-1896 born 5 Kislev 5595 ׂ[December 7, 1834] at Buhuşi, died 10 Elul 5656 [August 19, 1896] at Buhuşi). The eldest grandchild of the Ruzhiner, Reb Yitzchak was born to Rav Sholom Yosef Friedman and Bluma Raizel. He was only a year younger than the Ruzhiner’s youngest son, Reb Mordechai Shraga, and was cared for and educated by the Ruzhiner himself, regarded more as one of the Ruzhiner’s children than as his grandchild. Reb Yitzchak’s father, Reb Shalom Yosef, was the eldest of the Ruzhiner’s six sons. Reb Yitzchak was only 17 years old when his father passed away. For a few years he lived in the town of Potik with his uncle Reb Dovid Moshe of Chortkov.
He married Shaina Rochel the daughter of Rav Duvid Hager of Zablotiv (son of Rav Menachem Mendel of Kossuv) and Rebitzen Pessia Leah (daughter of Rav Moshe Leib Sassover).
Later on 1856, Reb Yitzchak moved to the town of Ezemal, Besarabia and then finally 1866 to Bohush in Romania, establishing his hasidic court as what became known as Bohush and he founded a new dynasty as Bohusher Rebbe. He was succeeded by his son Rav Yisroel Shulem Yosef Friedman as Bohusher Rebbe. Based on https://matzav.com/todays-yahrtzeits-and-history-10-elul-2/
